On his last \u2018Mann Ki Baat\u2019 of 2017 \u2013 the 39th<\/sup> edition of the monthly landmark radio programme \u2013 Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the nation, extending New Year\u2019s wishes and recalling preachings of Jesus Christ. He said that that Jesus preached for serving the society while Gurudev Ramkrishna Paramhans emphasized to \u201cServe living beings as if worshipping the almighty\u201d.<\/p>\n

In a major announcement PM Modi asserted that India will be inviting the leaders of 10 ASEAN countries \u2013 Thailand, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Myanmar, Cambodia, Laos and Brunei \u2013 as the chief guests at the next year\u2019s Republic Day parade.<\/p>\n
