This time the former cricketer and current cricket commentator has shared a fake tweet on Twitter congratulating Hima Das for winning a gold medal in Birmingham Commonwealth Games 2022 and initiating the medal count of India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Differentiating fact from fiction can be tricky in such times but celebrities and influential personalities are expected to be cautious of what they speak or choose to put out in public domain. But it does seem like Virender Sehwag has not learned his lessons yet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Today the former Indian opener shared a four years old video of Hima Das winning at Commonwealth games in the 400m race and clinching gold medal. He wrote, \u201cWhat a win! Indian athletes have totally arrived. Many congratulation to Hima Das for winning gold medal in 400m race at the Commonwealth Games. With a close lose over gold, Sanket won silver medal in the Men\u2019s 55 kg weightlifting with combined lift of 248 kg in the third lift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Malaysia\u2019s Aniq Kasdan bagged gold medal with combined lift of 249 kg and Sri Lanka\u2019s Dilanka Kumara has cinched bronze with 225 kg. Sargar pulled a heroic and initiated India\u2019s medal count, despite sustaining an injury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, it\u2019s not for the first time that Sehwag has shared some fake news on Twitter.
