The precautionary dose vaccination was launched in April this year and it is expected to be completed by the year\u2019s end.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After the meeting, Subendu Adhikari said on Twitter that the Union Home Minister gave his assurance of implementing CAA during the meeting in Parliament House. However, it was not implemented as protests erupted in several parts of the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The act will facilitate granting of Indian Citizenship to persecuted non-Muslim minorities of Pakistan, Bangladesh and Afghanistan. &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reports said that it will benefit the BJP in the next Lok Sabha elections. \u00a0The party wants the support of Matuas community in the election. The Matuas, a scheduled caste community, have a population of about 50 million in the Bengal region, of which around 3 million are in West Bengal alone, while 15 million are listed as voters.
