Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati on Wednesday said that her party will support National Democratic Alliance\u2019s (NDA) Vice-President candidate Jagdeep Dhankar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mayawati said on Twitter that elections for the post of President of India took place because of the disagreement between the government and the opposition. Now, the same situation is visible regarding the appointment of the Vice President, and the election is taking place on August 6.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She said that BSP has decided to support Dhankar, keeping in mind the larger public interest and movement of the party. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Earlier, Mayawati supported NDA\u2019s presidential candidate Droupadi Murmu. She mentioned the same logic that the decision was taken keeping in mind the party movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Replying to the tweet, one Krushika wrote that BSP lost its political interest and public support long ago. It\u2019s very unfortunate. A decision like this will not help the party, it may help some leaders to save themselves from the investigation. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
