Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray has launched a drive to connect with the party workers to regain his father Uddhav Thackeray’s lost ground in Maharashtra. The junior Thackeray will be reached out to party workers through Nishtha Yatra and Shiv Samvad campaigns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following the existential crisis in Maharashtra after the resignation of former Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray, the junior Thackeray has been touring various parts of the state, especially the constituencies of rebel Sena MLAs, for the last one-and-a-half months, <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Aditya Thackeray represents the Worli Assembly constituency in Mumbai and was largely seen in trousers and shirts, sometimes sporting a crisp black jacket with formal shoes of the same colour. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This comes days after Eknath Shinde took oath as Maharashtra Chief Minister in the wake of party rebel MLAs camped in Guwahati to form the government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jumping the ship from Shiv Sena to BJP by Several former corporators and party functionaries has prompted Aaditya Thackeray to hit the road in an attempt to stem the exodus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Uddhav Thackeray is also meeting the party workers and leaders at the Thackeray residence Matoshree. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Many Shiv Sena MLAs, who joined the Eknath Shinde camp last month, had accused Uddhav Thackeray of the leader’s inaccessibility to meet his MLAs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Since the rebellion broke out on June 21, Aaditya Thackeray has been visiting the Sena shakhas or local party offices in and around Mumbai, trying to rally the cadres ahead of crucial municipal elections in Mumbai and other big cities in the region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
