Raja Singh has made several comments against Muslims. In the video, Singh allegedly made disrespectful remarks about the Prophet. The incident occurred only a few months after chaos erupted over former BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma&#8217;s remark about the Prophet. The BJP had to suspend Nupur Sharma and another party leader, and up to ten cases were filed against Sharma across the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Raja Singh added that he is not sure why the police registered the FIR against him because Singh didn&#8217;t take the name of any particular community.&nbsp;His video was directed at Munawar Faruqui, and he stands by his words, intention was not to offend. There will be a second video in addition to this one, of which this was simply the first portion, he claimed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Protests erupted across the city against Singh for allegedly making derogatory remarks about Prophet Muhammad. Hundreds of people gathered at various police stations throughout the city since Monday last week. A large crowd gathered outside the Commissioner&#8217;s Office in Basheerbagh staging a protest.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Protests were also held at Dabeerpura, Bhavaninagar and a few other police stations. Senior police officers rushed to their offices to oversee the city&#8217;s security arrangements and force deployment in order to prevent a communal riot.
