The Central government on Monday summoned Wikipedia executives to seek explanation on how team India pacer Arshdeep Singh\u2019s Wikipedia page entry showing pacer’s alleged links with Khalistani movement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Key details in his Wikipedia page changed to term him as Khalistani. However, the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology believes that it could cause disharmony in India and could also led the cricketer’s family into trouble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Wikipedia edited entry about Arshdeep Singh, who had dropped catch on the third ball of Ravi Bishnoi’s 18th over, was changed after India’s five-wicket loss to Pakistan in Asia Cup on Sunday. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

An anonymous user replaced the words India with Khalistan at several locations on the profile minutes after India were beaten by Pakistan. Also, the name of the cricketer was changed twice while several changes were made to his cricket stats.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responding to the criticism of her son’s performance in last night’s match, Arshdeep’s mother said even Virat Kohli had a slump in the previous matches and he just got back to form.
