The Delhi High Court on Tuesday directed the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) to remove the alleged defamatory post against Delhi Lieutenant Governor (LG) Vinay Kumar Saxena. The Delhi LG appealed to the court to issue an order against the AAP and its leaders for false allegations against him. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vinay Kumar Saxena also sought a compensation of Rs 2.5 crore from the AAP and its five leaders-Atishi Singh, Saurabh Bharadwaj, Durgesh Pathak, Sanjay Singh and Jasmine Shah.
He sent a legal notice to the AAP and its leaders on September 5 for their defamatory statements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The AAP alleged that Vinay Kumar Saxena was involved in a Rs 1,400 crore scam during his tenure as the chairman of the Khadi and Village Industries Commission (KVIC).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On September 7, AAP leader Sanjay Singh tore a defamation notice sent by Delhi Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena over the Khadi scam allegations. He also challenged that he could tear and throw away such notices 10 times. He further said that the constitution has given him the right to speak the truth. He would not be cowed down by the notice of a thief, a corrupt man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sanjay Singh alleged that the Delhi LG looted 2.5 lakh artisans of their money. When they uncovered the corruption, he sent a legal notice. There should be a CBI-ED probe against LG Saxena to find out where the looted money was kept.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mentioning a Patna High Court order, the AAP leader said that instead of a Patna High Court order that no payment would be done in cash, the Director, under the chairmanship of VK Saxena, of Khadi Commission continued cash payment till 2017. People should ask how much LG VK Saxena manipulated the cash payment. Out of 4,55,000, only 193,598 employees\u2019 account was opened. The rest were more than 2.5 lakh Ghost Employees, who kept getting cash payments every month.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
