The people present had no other option but to watch. One of them captured a video on his mobile phone. Here in the last two days, about 5 houses have been washed away in the Ganges. This problem has been persistent in Bhagalpur district for many years.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If the villagers are to be believed, the erosion is going on for 4 to 5 months. However, the erosion had come to a halt for the past one month. But once again due to the rise in the water level of the Ganges, erosion is happening fast. Even now there are many such houses which are standing on the verge of eroding and getting washed away in the Ganges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Administration assures compensation<\/strong> <strong>to victims<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On this matter, CO Ashish Kumar said that people whose houses have been washed away in water will be compensated soon. Once their paperwork is finished, they will get the required compensation.
