A 15-feet-long python was spotted at Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology in Kanpur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The video of the python has gone viral as it was an unusual sight for people because there was a bulge in its stomach. Later, it was revealed that the serpent had swallowed a goat and was resting in the sun.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The people living in the residential area towards the rear of the dairy department of the institute came in panic when they saw the python. On making noise, the python went towards the dairy department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The chairman of the department, Dr Vedprakash immediately informed RFO Lallu Singh of the forest department and Dr Anurag Singh, the veterinary officer in charge of the zoo, and asked them to rescue the python. The forest department team reached the spot, after a struggle that lasted for half an hour, they caught the python and left it in the snake house of the zoo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
CSA Vice Chancellor Dr. DR Singh said that information about python being spotted in the institute was received. The team of the forest department has rescued the snake and have taken it away. People started gathering to see the snake. The forest department team took 3 hours to reach, till then the people around remained on the roads fearing the snake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Snakes found at five places in Agra<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Recently, in Agra, snakes were rescued from five different places and released into the forest. In the first case, a five-foot-long rat snake was rescued by the Wildlife SOS Rapid Response Unit from the engine of a two-wheeler in Shastripuram. In the second case, a five-foot-long cobra trapped in a fishing net near Fatehpur Sikri was rescued. The third case is of Sakatpur in Achhnera.
