The incident took place on Friday after the girls bunked the school in Ashta town of Sehore district and travelled around 100 km to reach Indore to meet the boyfriend of one of the deceased girls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The police said the girls reportedly drank poison for various reasons. According to the police, the 16-year-old who is undergoing treatment after she consumed poison because of a family dispute stated that the three of them were very close and skipped their classes to meet one of the girl&#8217;s boyfriend.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The girls travelled all the way to Indore because one of the girl&#8217;s boyfriend used to stay there. According to the reports, the boy wasn&#8217;t picking up the girl&#8217;s call, so they all decided to visit him. She and her two companions had planned to commit suicide if her boyfriend doesn&#8217;t show up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The girls bought poison from a store in Ashta and waited for the boy at a park in the Bhawarkuan neighbourhood and as he didn&#8217;t turn up, the girl drank poison. Soon after, the surviving girl also consumed poison stating that she was facing serious problems in her family. The third girl followed the suit as she was close to them, said police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Chaubey said No suicide note was recovered from the girls. The police are relying on the statement of the girl, who is undergoing treatment, which has become the basis of their investigation, he added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The police officials are doing a detailed investigation into the matter. The CCTV footage is also being checked.
