A case of a Maulvi raping a minor girl student has come to light in Ghaziabad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Police said that the school where the rape took place also runs a madrasa in the same building, which has been operating since 2014. People said that the accused Shahdat is also a Maulvi at the Madrasa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Shahadat, the operator of a private school in Ghaziabad’s Masuri village, raped a minor girl for two months. After school ended, he used to stop the girl student on the pretext of teaching her how to operate a mobile phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Maulvi had threatened the girl that if she would tell anyone, he would kill her brother and sister studying in the school and get the dead body thrown in the canal. Her mother got suspicious when the student started living silent and refused to go to school. After questioning the daughter, the abominable act of the Maulvi was exposed. Police have registered a case, at present the accused Shahdat is absconding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Inspector RC Pant, in-charge of Masuri police station said that in the investigation it has been found that the operator had begun his indecent acts with molestation. The girl remained silent, so he began raping her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Shahdat had also given her a promise of buying a mobile phone. Police said that the school where the rape took place also runs a Madrasa in the same building, which has been operating since 2014. The school’s affiliation is up to class VI, but classes run till class VIII. The police have sought information from the Basic Education Department. In another recent incident, a Maulvi was arrested by Rajasthan police for attempting rape on a 17-year-old girl in a mosque in Bharatpur.
