Union Home Minister Amit Shah promised on Thursday that the killer of Shraddha Walker would face the harshest punishment possible as soon as possible. He said the Delhi Police and the prosecution are working vigorously to look for Shraddha Walkar’s murderer, who killed her fiercely and chopped her body into 35 pieces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking at a Times Now Summit, Shah said he is keeping an eye on the matter and the Delhi Police and the prosecution will ensure that whoever has committed the crime will get the strictest of punishments from the court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Speaking about the threatening letter that surfaced from 2020, Shah stated that Delhi Police had no involvement in that letter because the deceased sent it to the Maharashtra Police. He said no action was taken by the Maharashtra government even after she mentioned in the letter that she was being threatened and that she would be killed and cut into pieces.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On Wednesday, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said that there will be a probe into the matter. He said the BJP government was not in power at the time, but strict action will be taken against whoever is responsible. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

It stated that Poonawala had attempted to kill her by suffocating her and had threatened to cut up her body. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Fadnavis stated that he has gone through the letter and its contents are very serious. He further said he need to investigate why no action was taken by the police.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Meanwhile, Aaftab Poonawala is currently undergoing a polygraph test in Delhi. Aaftab is accused of strangling Shraddha, his live-in partner, to death and chopping her body into 35 pieces.
