The Bombay Sessions Court granted him bail on a bond of Rs 3 lakh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Enforcement Directorate (ED) has listed Hrishikesh Deshmukh as an accused in its case against the former Home Minister. Hrishikesh had been summoned at least five times by the central agency. He did not, however, personally appear before the agency; instead, his lawyer, Inderpal Singh, represented him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Hrishikesh Deshmukh has never been arrested in this case. However, he is still behind the bars in the case lodged against him by the CBI on corruption charges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) filed a complaint against Anil Deshmukh after the former Mumbai police commissioner Param Bir Singh accused him of extortion, prompting the ED to launch its investigation into him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The investigation agency alleged that the former minister had taken advantage of his official position to amass Rs\u00a04.70 crore from various Mumbai bars and restaurants.
