All the teams have started preparations for the ODI World Cup 2023, which will be held in India. With less than a year left in this tournament every team is keeping their best foot forward and working out team combinations for the big ICC tournament.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As the host, Team India has already qualified for the ODI World Cup 2023. After this, seven teams including England, <\/strong>New Zealand, Australia, Bangladesh and Pakistan have qualified for this World Cup. The Indian team will make it to the tournament as hosts. Whereas, the rest of the teams will have to play the qualifying round and the first two placed teams will make it to the main round. In such a situation, teams like South Africa, Sri Lanka and West Indies can be in trouble.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Sri Lankan team is currently at the 10th position in the points table of the Cricket World Cup Super League with 67 points. They have four matches to make it to the eight teams. Same way South Africa is at 11th position with 59 points. They will have to win four of their five matches to make it to the super eight. Three of these matches are against England and two are against team Netherlands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n On the other hand, West Indies is at the eighth position with 88 points. This team can directly qualify for the World Cup by performing well in their upcoming matches.
