He has also admitted that he disposed of her body parts in the forest and that he has no regrets, reports said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The final report of the polygraph test of the Shraddha murder case accused Aaftab Ameen Poonawala is to come on Wednesday. During interrogation, Aaftab confessed that he killed Shraddha. He had chopped Shraddha&#8217;s body into 35 pieces when they were in a live-in relationship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Such a confession obtained through a polygraph examination or the subsequent narco-analysis examination is not often accepted as evidence, but any tangible proof that results from it may be used in court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On December 1, he will undergo a narco-analysis test, the following step in what is typically referred to as a lie-detection process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>A substance or truth serum, such as sodium pentothal, scopolamine, or sodium amytal, is intravenously administered during that test to cause the subject to experience various degrees of anaesthesia. When under hypnosis, a person loses their inhibitions and is more prone to open up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Investigative authorities administer it when other evidence is insufficient to establish a solid case. For instance, in this case, the murder occurred in May, but it has not yet been determined whether the body pieces discovered earlier this month belong to the victim; DNA test results are pending.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>After determining that Aaftab&#8217;s answers were dishonest or inconclusive, the police requested authorisation from the court for the narcotics test as well as the mandatory consent of the accused, reports said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The body of Aaftab Poonawala&#8217;s live-in partner is believed to have been sawed into 35 pieces, kept in a 300-litre refrigerator for 18 days, and then thrown in a jungle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The deceased father, who had not spoken to her for about a year because he disapproved of the couple&#8217;s interfaith relationship, went to the police on November 12 after learning that she had not been in contact with her friends for months.
