On Thursday, Photos surfaced on social media of the vandalized chamber walls of the professors at Jawahar Lal Nehru University in which walls were vandalized with Anti-Brahmin slogans. The photos of the vandalized walls show slogans targeting, as well as threatening the Brahmins. The University authority’s statement condemned the incident and blamed unknown elements behind the defaced walls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Vice-Chancellor of JNU, Santishree Pandit, in the statement also informed that a probe has been ordered by the university authorities to look into the situation. The statement read that the Dean, School of International Studies, and the Grievances Committee have been instructed to investigate the incident and to also submit the findings to the VC. The statement also added that the university aligns itself with the ideology of inclusion and equality and the VC also caveated on the zero-tolerance policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The images which surfaced on social media had slogans that urged the people from Brahmin Community to go back to Shakhas and also threatened the people from the Brahmin to do as they are told or else there will be bloodshed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
