The woman coach who has accused Haryana Sports Minister Sandeep Singh of sexual harassment, on Tuesday claimed that Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar was trying to sabotage the probe. Speaking to the media after appearing before the Special Investigation Team (SIT) of the Chandigarh Police, the woman said that SIT has been formed and everything has been explained in detail. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
She further said that the Haryana chief minister is trying to influence the investigation. As the incident happened in Chandigarh, she is being pressurized to keep quiet. The woman even claimed that she is recieving phone calls to leave the country, for which she has been offered Rs 1 crore. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The female coach further claimed that the Haryana Police was pressurizing her too. “I heard Chief Minister’s statement this morning, in which the Chief Minister himself is taking side of Sandeep Singh,” she further added. On the other hand, the coach’s lawyer Dipanshu Bansal alleged that the Chandigarh Police has neither arrested the former minister nor has the police interrogated him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The woman, a junior athlete coach, had last month held a press conference at the office of the opposition Indian National Lok Dal (INLD), in which she alleged that the minister harassed her by sending repeated messages from February to November last year.
