Stone pelting was reported at the newly inaugurated Vande Bharat Express in Bihar\u2019s Katihar district. The incident of stone pelting at the Vande Bharat Express isn’t new as previously another incident of a similar nature was reported in Bihar\u2019s Kishanganj district where the newly inaugurated train was vandalised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Vande Bharat Express with train number 22302 was reportedly vandalised as the C6 coach of the train was damaged during the stone pelting incident. The reports suggest that a person was also injured during the transgression which transpired on Friday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Vande Bharat Express was reportedly crossing Dalkhola-Tela railway station during which the incident of stone pelting was learnt by the authorities. It was also reported that the windowpane on the right hand side of the bogey broke, owing to the stone pelting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Railway Police Force officials, while talking to the media, said that the incident where the transgression was reported comes under Balrampur in Katihar. The operations of the train were also interrupted because of the stone pelting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
It was also reported that after the train bogey sustained damage, the Railway Protection Force sent a team to investigate the place where the incident transpired. It was reported that the Railway Protection Force team are directed to look into the leading factor and the exact escalation point of what happened that led to stone pelting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Earlier another incident of a similar nature came to the fore where another Vande Bharat Express train suffered damage owing to the stone pelting which escalated on 3 January.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
