Reliance Jio on Tuesday rolled out its True 5G service in 50 cities across 17 states and Union Territories expanding the Jio 5G network across 184 cities in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a statement, the telecom giant dubbed it as one of the largest rollout of 5G services in the world. The telco said it has stepped up the speed and intensity of rolling out its True 5G services across the country in its bid to help every user experience the \u201ctransformational benefits\u201d of Jio True 5G technology in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jio added that it aimed to rollout its True 5G services across the entire nation by December 2023. The statement thanked the governments of Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Chhattisgarh, Goa, Haryana, Jharkhand, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, Odisha, Puducherry, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh, and West Bengal for their \u201ccontinuous support in our quest to digitize every region.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A Jio spokesperson said that existing Jio users will be invited to the Jio Welcome Offer to start using 5G services on their device. The telco will off 5G unlimited data up to 1 Gbps+ speeds, at no additional cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
