We had just crossed in to Kashmir from Jammu &amp; were looking forward to the 11 KM walk but unfortunately it had to be cancelled. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/H2DByCRYCi\">https:\/\/t.co\/H2DByCRYCi<\/a><\/p>&mdash; Omar Abdullah (@OmarAbdullah) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/OmarAbdullah\/status\/1618904905368076295?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 27, 2023<\/a><\/blockquote><script async src=\"https:\/\/platform.twitter.com\/widgets.js\" charset=\"utf-8\"><\/script>\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The yatra was stopped earlier today near Qazigund, the gateway to Kashmir valley, due to an alleged breach of security and mismanagement of crowd by the erstwhile state\u2019s administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Congress leaders alleged that Rahul Gandhi after crossing Qazigund, started his march towards south Kashmir\u2019s Vessu, but the party workers noticed that the outer cordon maintained by the Jammu and Kashmir police, was lifted all of a sudden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the J&amp;K Police has refuted the allegations of a security lapse. In a series of tweets, the police claimed that organizers of the march had not told them that such a large gathering would be joining them from Banihal and full security arrangements were in place and deployments were done as per SOPs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\"><p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Only authorised persons as identified by organisers &amp; frisked crowd was allowed inside towards the route of Yatra.
