A 20-year-old woman was so saddened by the death of her pet dog that she ended her life as well in Korba district of Chhattisgarh.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The girl hanged herself from the leash of the dog. Her body was found hanging in the house on Monday. The girl along with her college friend had bought the dog. The girl was in depression due to the dog\u2019s death. On the other hand, the family alleges that the girl has taken such a step due to the harassment of her friend. The case pertains of Civil Line police station area in the district.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to information, Richa Sondhia (20), a resident of Irrigation Colony, Rampur, lived with her mother and was doing DCA from Raipur. Her father has already died. Richa, along with a friend Aniket Mishra, who studied in college, had bought an expensive breed dog for Rs 40,000. The dog used to stay with Richa and she was taking care of it very lovingly. The dog\u2019s health deteriorated and it died a few days later.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Since then, Richa went into depression and started getting upset. She kept on crying all the time. It is being told that her friend Aniket also started torturing Richa over the death of the dog. On Monday, when Richa was found hanging in her own room, the family members brought her down. She was rushed to the hospital, but the doctors there declared Richa brought dead. On receiving the information, the police reached and the body has been sent for postmortem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On the other hand, Richa’s mother Durga Sondhia is not happy with her daughter\u2019s step. She works as a peon in the Revenue Department. After her husband left her, her only support was her daughter. She has blamed Aniket for her daughter’s suicide. She says that after the death of the dog, Aniket used to call her daughter and say bad things. Due to this, she started getting worried even more.
