Plagued by debt, a middle-aged man reportedly murdered his wife and later committed suicide by ingesting poison at his home in Mumbai, police said on Thursday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the police, the Vinod Samjiskar (43), and his Shubhangi, were found dead at their residence in Dadar area of central Mumbai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They said the incident came to fore when the couple\u2019s relatives visited their home during afternoon hours at a ‘chawl’ (old row tenements) in the Dadar area, where they found both of them lying motionless on the bed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A senior official said preliminary investigation has found that Vijay Samjiskar who was plagued by debt, murdered his wife first and then killed himself by suicide by consuming some kind of poisonous substance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
