Celebrity couple Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma announced on March 22 that they are merging their respective foundations- The Virat Kohli Foundation and The Anushka Sharma Foundation, and launching a new initiative called SeVVA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a joint statement, the Indian cricketer and Bollywood actor said that it is a non-profit initiative and is meant to help people in need. SeVVA will not be confined to any particular cause. The couple said the organisation will continue to strive for social good by championing humanity which is the need of the hour today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
They said, in the words of Kahlil Gibran, \u2018For in truth, it is a life that gives unto life- while you, who deem yourself a giver, are but a witness\u2019 and with this sentiment in mind, they have decided to work together aiming to reach out to as many people as possible, through SeVVA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anushka will also continue to work for animal welfare as she has been doing for many years. SeVVA will be working to locate and assist in areas of concern that benefit society as a whole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The couple got married in December 2017 in Tuscany and is known as one of the strongest and most loved couples in the industry. They are one of the most influential couples as well, featuring together in many ads. The duo is known for their heart-warming love for each other and for living a very fulfilling yet simple life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Kohli and Sharma welcomed their daughter Vamika in 2021 and the actor has been on a break from acting since then. She will be seen in the sports drama based on Indian pace bowler Jhulan Goswami, titled Chakda Xpress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
