On Friday evening, Delhi BJP leader Surendra Matiala was shot dead by three unidentified men inside his office in Dwarka.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As per the statement of the police, Matiala along with his nephew was watching TV sitting in his office and at round 7:30 PM, two men with their faces covered entered Matiala\u2019s office and shot at him four to five rounds from close range, the attackers also beat up Matiala before firing. The police said that the two men are yet to be identified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Surendra Matiala,60, was a leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party Kisan Morcha from the Bindapur constituency who contested the local Municipal elections.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to the police there were three attackers in total, while two entered the office to attack Matiala, one was waiting outside near the motorcycle, all three accused escaped the spot immediately after attacking Matiala.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Matiala received four bullet injuries in his body, he was immediately rushed to the hospital but the doctors declared him brought dead.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Amit Matiala, the son of killed leader said his father held no enmity with anyone and that has faith in the police that they will soon nab the ones involved in this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Matiala\u2019s family members have not blamed anyone yet and have not named any suspect but reports claim Matiala had some land dispute, which the police is now probing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Police also said they are looking out from all the possible angles and are investigating accordingly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The BJP on this case has condemned the attack and has made no suspicion, it has demanded a proper investigation and wants the culprits to be punished.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
