The man was tricked by a group of online criminals who convinced him that liking and subscribing to particular YouTube videos would enable him to earn a sizable sum of money each day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Harijan, on April 13, received a text message from the fraudster who introduced himself as Bhatnagar, an HR professional from a company called Mphasis. Bhatnagar reportedly told the victim that Mphasis has launched a new investment project, where Harjian could earn handsome money by liking and subscribing to certain YouTube videos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Soon Harijan received messages about the amount he earned. Initially, Rs 3,000 were added to his account, followed by Rs 5,000 and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A few hours later, Harijan received a text from Pooja who asked him to join her on @Tagor25 and said those who’ll invest in their company will earn a good amount. She told Harijan that if he invests Rs 5,000 with them then they’ll earn Rs 6,500 instantly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Harijan ended up investing a total of Rs 8.2 lakh. Soon after, the accused switched off his phone and vanished.
