New fear unlocked! In a bizarre incident, a woman from Madhya Pradesh’s Indore sued a spa for botching up her Brazilian bikini waxing. The woman’s skin peeled off after the waxing leading to a burning sensation. The Indore court passed an order on April 14 and ordered a spa to pay Rs 70,000 compensation to a woman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The court has asked the spa, situated in Tulsi Nagar, to pay a compensation of Rs 30,000 for the damages, Rs 20,000 for causing mental agony, and another 20,000 towards the victim\u2019s medical expenses within 30 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The incident happened in November 2021 when the victim, a resident of Chandan Nagar, visited a local spa for a premium Brazilian waxing worth Rs 4,500.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The girl stated that the hot wax was too hot and was causing irritation and burning when it was applied to her skin. The owner\/service provider, however, reassured the girl that everything was alright and that the pain and the slight burning feeling were normal and advised her not to worry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, as the strip was taken off, it ripped off her skin leading to an extreme burning sensation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The victim sued the salon owner in court for bad service in January 2022. On April 14, the court determined that the woman had sustained serious injuries during the waxing session. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The judges asserted that the service provider was required to pay attention to the woman’s complaints.
