In a horrific incident, a woman allegedly killed her newborn baby by throwing him out of the window minutes after giving birth in the toilet in West Bengal. The horrendous incident took place on April 22 in Kolkata’s Kasba area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Reports state that the woman gave birth to a newborn after she went to the toilet. Hearing him cry, the woman got perplexed and threw him out of the toilet’s window, breaking the glass pane.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Hearing the sound of the glass break, the locals rushed to the spot and found the newborn. They immediately informed the Kasba Police Station who then reached the spot and interrogated the woman.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On Saturday, she went to the toilet when she gave birth to a baby boy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The police found the woman bleeding from her lower body. They immediately took both the woman and the baby to a nearby hospital where the baby passed away the next morning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Police have booked the woman under a relevant section of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) for an act done with the intent to prevent a child from being born alive or to cause it to die after birth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n As per the initial investigation, the woman was going through some mental disorder. She has been in a live-in relationship since June 2022 and married that man, who is an alcoholic, in November same year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The woman’s in-laws claim that neither her husband nor they knew about her pregnancy. The police are currently probing the matter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
