On Wednesday, police in Maharashtra detained three men after complaints of harassing a woman wearing hijab and roaming with a Hindu man.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The said incident is of Monday, reported from Makai Gate area in Aurangabad, Maharashtra where a video has surfaced across social media that shows some men hounded a woman who was in a hijab and snatched her mobile phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The women in the said video is pleading the harassers to return back her phone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As per reports, officials stated that the police identified the woman with the help of the video and asked her to register a complaint, which she refused to do so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Deputy Police Commissioner Deepak Girhe said that the incident took place on Monday and the youths suspected a Muslim woman roaming with a Hindu man, after which they followed the woman to harass her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Commissioner Girhe informed that the process to register a suo-moto complaint has been started as the victim woman refused to file a complaint against the accused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
