The 100th<\/sup> episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s monthly radio program \u2018Mann Ki Baat\u2019, was broadcasted live at the New York headquarters of the United Nations at 1:30 am (local time) on Sunday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201chistoric moment\u201d was aired in the global body\u2019s headquarters by the UN’s Trusteeship Council Chamber.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a tweet, India’s Permanent Representative to the UN Ambassador Ruchira Kamboj announced: “Just started. \u2018Mann Ki Baat’ at the Trusteeship Council, UN Headquarters New York.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Terming \u201cMann Ki Baat\u201d a \u201cmonthly national tradition\u201d that has inspired millions to join India\u2019s journey of development, Permanent Mission of India to the UN, ahead of the broadcast tweeted: \u201cGet ready for a historic moment as the 100th episode of PM Modi’s “Mann Ki Baat” is set to go live on April 30th in the Trusteeship Council Chamber at @UN HQ!.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In another tweet, the Permanent Mission posted a video with the caption\u201d As #MannKiBaat goes global with a live broadcast at UN Headquarters, let’s take a moment to appreciate the impact it has had in promoting inclusivity and public participation.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Indian diplomatic missions in various countries across the world also live-streamed the 100th<\/sup> episode of PM Modi\u2019s monthly radio address.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Indian Missions in the UK, China, South Africa, Chile, Morocco, Mexico, Congo, Iraq and Indonesia among others, organized the live-streaming events of \u2018Mann Ki Baat\u2019 100 which were attended by the members of the Indian community in these nations along with embassy officials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In New York, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar also attended a special event organised by the Indian-community where the 100th episode of the radio programme was broadcast.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A live broadcast of the monthly radio programme was also organized in London which was attended by Union Minister for Science Dr Jitendra Singh, who is on a tour of the UK, along with the community members and officials of the Indian mission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Indian Embassy in Russian capital Moscow organized a similar event which was attended by Indian community members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Bangladesh, the Indian High Commission in Bangladesh capital, Dhaka organised a special screening of the 100th<\/sup> episode of \u2018Mann Ki Baat\u2019 which was attended by Indian students and community members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMann Ki Baat\u201d, which has become a shining example of social connect between Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the masses since it was first aired on October 3, 2014.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
