Met Gala 2023:<\/strong> Bollywood actor Alia Bhatt made her much-awaited debut at the Met Gala 2023 on May 1 in New York. Bhatt dazzled on the red carpet in a pearl gown by designer Prabal Gurung.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The actor looked like a vision in a pearl embellished ball gown with a corset-style bodice with a plunging scoop neck inspired by supermodel Claudia Schiffer’s 1992 Chanel bridal ensemble. Meanwhile, singer Dua Lipa wore the actual gown worn by Schiffer in 1992.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Coming back to Bhatt’s appearance, the gown had 100,000 pearls adorned and a sheer trail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sharing the pictures on Instagram, Alia Bhatt wrote she wanted to to something that felt authentic and proudly made in India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
