He initially asked people verbally. Later, the association made the decision to issue a circular.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Residents are requested to pay special attention to their conduct and dress whenever they roam in the society at any time so that they do not give anyone the opportunity to object to their behaviour. Children should also follow the same. We need to respect one another, Residents&#8217; welfare association (RWA) President CK Kalra said. He also said, if women wear nighty and go around, that will be unpleasant for men, and if men wear lungis that will be uncomfortable for women as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While many people accepted the revised rules without issue, others objected to the AOA&#8217;s excessive authority.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As per the reports, there was disagreement over the issue among the RWA federations. The call for a clothing code had been supported by the GB Nagar district development RWA. The RWA&#8217;s president, NP Singh, emphasised the importance of protocol in public settings.
