Bihar\u2019s Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was out for a morning walk at Anne Marg in Patna when he almost got hit by a motorbike today, leading to a serious security breach. The Patna police have taken custody of the offending biker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A fast motorbike broke through the Chief Minister’s protection while he was walking outside his home on 7 Circular Road. In an effort to save himself, the Chief Minister ran onto the pedestrian walkway.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The incident happened as the Chief Minister was crossing Circular Road from his house to Circular Housing. Eyewitnesses claimed that an unidentified motorbike tried to get past the security barrier to enter Circular Road, where Nitish Kumar usually takes his morning walk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
However, Special Security Group (SSG) commandos and Patna police detained the rider, who was later sent for interrogation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After the incident, SSG commandant Hari Mohan Shukla and Patna SSP Rajeev Mishra have been also called to the CMO’s at the Anne Marg office for clarification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The CCTV footage of that area is being examined for noticing the past activity of the rider.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The CM was given Z-plus security in 2018, with SSG commandos forming the tightest band around the chief minister. They seem like prime ministerial SPG commandos.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Additionally, Bihar military police commandos and local police are also involved in providing security for the chief ministers. Around 50 security officers surround him at any public event, observing every move of outsiders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In recent days, its being observed for the sake of getting likes and shares on social media Patna’s stunt riders are engaged in putting other vehicles and pedestrians in danger. A lot of them shoot their dangerous stunts with the help of their friends, make reels and share them on social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
A similar incident to this also went viral on the internet where two girls performed a wheelie and other stunts on Atal Path in April.
