A video of Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya speaking about the National Diabetes Treatment Programme surfaced over the internet, which was later claimed to be morphed and fake by the Press Information Bureau. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mandaviya in the morphed video can be seen addressing the National Diabetes Treatment Programme, which is now viral on the internet. In the video the Minister can be heard informing the people that they have the last chance to register for the programme and latest by July, the registration drive will get suspended. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mandaviya further said, if any of the person or their family member is diabetic then they must visit the official website, he added that he is Mansukh Mandaviya and guarantees that the diabetes level would get normal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Following the video’s virality, PIB, the Central government body responsible for informing the print and electronic media about initiatives, programmes and accomplishments of the Indian government, clarified that the claim made by the Health Minister was false and that the video was modified.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Taking to Twitter, it claimed, there is no such programme being undertaken by the Indian government.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
