A first year student of Delhi University was stabbed to death outside Aryabhatta College in South Campus, the police asserted on Monday. The two accused in the concerning case have been apprehended. One of the accused, Rahul is the resident of Bindapur and also a student of BA first year. Another accused is Rahul\u2019s friend, Harron who is a school drop out and resident of Janakpuri. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Nikhil Chauhan, the victim, was a 19-year-old-student. He was pursuing BA (Hons) in political Science from the School of Open Learning. He was a resident of Paschim Vihar. According to preliminary investigation carried out, a student of the School of Open Learning allegedly misbehaved with the victim\u2019s girlfriend around a week ago. When Chauhan objected to the harassment, the accused got angry and decided to take revenge. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The police narrated that around 12:30 pm on Sunday, the accused and three of his associates met Nikhil Chauhan outside Aryabhatta College and stabbed him in his chest. The victim was hurried to a nearby hospital. The hospital declared him dead. According to the reports, the police have identified two more accused in the case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Reports further claim that on Sunday, the police received a call from Charak Palika Hospital regarding the stabbing incident outside Aryabhatta College. The caller informed the police that a student was brought to the hospital with a stab wound on his chest and was pronounced dead by the doctors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As soon as the police received the aforesaid information, it dispatched a team to investigate the matter. Following, the team revealed that Nikhil Chauhan, a 19-year-old-student and a resident of Paschim Vihar, had been admitted. The team added that the victim was brought from the Aryabhatta College.
