Murmu said if one can remain associated with yoga, one can remain free of diseases. She said through yoga one can achieve a healthy body and a peaceful mind. President Murmu said yoga was the only way to achieve peace of mind. She added yoga is one of the greatest accomplishments of India. She said yoga creates a balance between body, mind and soul and gives one the strength to face the challenges in one\u2019s life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier on last Friday, President Murmu had stated the significance of yoga for a healthy lifestyle and had said the regular practice of yoga could assist individuals in achieving success in all spheres of life. She stated the unity of mind, body and soul is more just a physical activity and emphasised on practising yoga because it can help people grow spiritually which helps in the development of the individual and the nation as a whole.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The President said yoga serves as the link between the soul and divinity. She also said it helps in maintaining the health of an individual. She said one needs to strive for purification of the body, mind and soul and spiritual awakening. She said the world was now recognising the importance of yoga due to India\u2019s efforts. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had said yoga expands one\u2019s inner vision and connects us to consciousness which makes one feel the unity of the living being.
