A clash broke out between locals and police after the people staged a protest over the removal of a portion of a temple in Delhi’s Mandawali. As per the report, several protestors were detained by the police. The videos of the incident have been circulated online, which show women purportedly fighting with the police personnel and some locals lying down on the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In a video posted by ANI, women protestors were seen moving toward the police with sticks and shovels while the police were dispersing the crowd. Local women protestors accused the police of misbehaving with them. One of the women involved in anti-encroachment action said that the step was taken on the basis of someone’s complaint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
