The film has Prabhas and Deepika Padukone in the lead roles and also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Disha Patani. The Director of the film is Nag Ashwin. The big budget film is produced by C Aswani Dutt, founder of Vyjayanthi Movies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Production house Vyjayanthi Movies shared about Kamal Haasan\u2019s casting on its official twitter page. The announcement video showed several clips from Kamal Haasan\u2019s critically acclaimed movies and introduced him as a universal hero. One fan expressed that he couldn&#8217;t wait to see both Kamal Haasan and Prabhas sharing the same screen in the film. Another fan said Kamal Haasan was a Pan-India Superstar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amitabh Bachchan welcomed Kamal on board and said it would be great to work with him again. A few weeks earlier there were reports of producer Ashwini Dutt approaching Kamal Hassan with an offer of 150 crores to play the antagonist in the film. According to reports Kamal Haasan had been approached for the film but he denied the news of the 150 crore offer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Aswani Dutt\u2019s production house is 50 years old. The film is scheduled to be released in cinemas on January 12, 2024 in Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil, Telegu and Hindi. Project K is a science fiction thriller which is being made on a massive budget. The film marks the collaboration of Prabhas and Nag Ashwin of Mahanati fame.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Some posters featuring Prabhas and Deepika were enough to create hype for the film. Prabhas&#8217;s Bahubali co star Rana Daggubati has said, the Telugu film industry has high hopes from the film. Talking to the media he said that they enjoyed each other\u2019s cinema fully.
