The Udhhav Thackeray headed Shiv Sena has compared the recent Opposition parties alliance with the Wagner group of Russia saying and made strong remarks against Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In Saamana, the Shiv Sena (UBT)\u2019 mouthpiece in its fresh editorial wrote, just as the Wagner group rebelled against Russia\u2019s President Vladimir Putin, in the same way the Opposition parties gathered in Patna to take on Prime Minister Narendra Modi.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The editorial tagged the Wagner group as the defenders of democracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Wagner group is a mercenary group of Russia that constitutes of convicts recruited from the Russian prisons. The group is headed by its chief Yevgeny Prigozhin, who recently rebelled against Putin. The group is a private army of Russia, who has been actively involved with the country\u2019s army in its Ukraine infiltration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Comparing to Putin’s authoritarian rule in Russia, the editorial said Modi-Shah are trying to build dictatorship and authoritarianism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Shiv Sena(UBT) mouthpiece also took on the Eknath Shinde-Fadnavis alliance government in Maharashtra calling Shinde and his Ministers the rented army (Wagner group) saying they will soon ditch and rebel against the BJP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The editorial taking a jibe at Prime Minister Modi\u2019s recent US State visit said the leader mocked himself by speaking in bad English. It further said Modi was baffled when he was questioned about India\u2019s democracy, constitution and attack on minorities during a joint press conference US President Joe Biden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
