A 35-year-old graduate committed suicide in Karnataka on Thursday. The graduate is identified as Nagaraja Ganapathy Gaokar. He was a resident of Telangara village. Nagaraja Ganapathy Goakar went to a hill near his village in the morning and ended his life. According to reports, he hanged himself from a tree. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The police officials informed the media that Nagaraja Ganapathy Gaokar had completed her graduation a few years ago and was unable to find a job. Being unemployed, the 35-year-old man failed to get married which eventually led to depression. After making several unsuccessful attempts to achieve a job, Goakar took up farming. However, later he developed multiple health problems. Reportedly, investigation into this matter is underway. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Earlier in the last week, a farmer from Haveri district of Karnataka also committed suicide after failing to find a bride. The deceased, identified as Manjunath Naganur consumed poison to end his life. He was a 36-year-old man. According to the police, Naganur had been sincerely looking for a bride for nearly eight years. However, his effort went in vain, pushing him into a state of deep despair. Reports claim that Manjunath Naganur left a suicide note. In the note, he shared his internal anguish, according to the police. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The police affirmed that in the suicide note, the 36-year-old farmer wrote that his inability to find a bride for himself, distressed his parents. He expressed that overwhelmed by hopelessness and frustration, he decided to end his own life. According to reports, a case has been registered at the Byadagi Police Station. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Karnataka farmers failing to find a bride is seen as a serious concern in the southern state. The situation is so grim that the higher authorities of the state were compelled to look into the matter. During the recent Assembly election in the state, the issue of these young farmers were raised, as per reports.
