A section of the press is saying that the candidature of JD-U\u2019s first-time MP Harivansh will be the NDA\u2019s choice.\u00a0\u00a0<em>APN<\/em>\u2019s popular debate\u00a0<em>Mudda<\/em>\u00a0discussed the issue. Anchorperson Anant Tyagi posed questions to panellists including BJP\u2019s Anand Sahu, JD-U\u2019s Krishnanand Mishra, SP\u2019s Manoj Yadav, Congress\u2019 Omkar Nath Singh, noted scribe Atul Chandra, and <em>APN<\/em>\u00a0consultant Govind Pant Raju.<\/p>\n<p>Sahu said: \u201cNo cracks in the NDA are likely on this issue. It will be decided amicably, and like in the past, we shall win. However, till nominations are filed, it\u2019s not correct to take anyone\u2019s name as final. If the Shiv Sena does not vote, the biggest loss will be theirs, because they are not going to be the game changers.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Singh said: \u201cThe correct procedure is that when the government does not have a majority, the opposition should have been consulted.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Manoj Yadav said: \u201c<em>Abki baar<\/em> Modi <em>sarkar is<\/em> now <em>abki bar chhote dilwalon ki sarkar<\/em>. Allies have been leaving the BJP.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sahu said: \u201cI have not said Harivansh\u2019s candidature is final. The candidate will be decided mutually among the friendly parties. I am not sure if Harivansh\u2019s name has been decided. The post of RS deputy chairman is crucial.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Mishra said: \u201dIt looks certain that the name of Harivansh is final, no need to doubt that. The BJP leader on the panel may not be aware.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sahu said: \u201cThis is a useless controversy. What\u2019s more important to know is that the NDA candidate will win.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Atul Chandra said: \u201dAmit Shah spoke to Nitish Kumar regarding Harivansh\u2019s name. Why this name is becoming important is to secure the Bihar alliance. It\u2019s like give-and-take. It does not seem that Shiv Sena will leave the BJP. Akali Dal, too, does not have the numbers to go in a different direction.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Sahu said: \u201cThe most important thing is that the candidate should enjoy the backing of all. The Shiv Sena and the Akali Dal will be with BJP, and BJD, AIADMK and DMK will also be with us on this issue.
