The Indian Army gave No Objection Certificate (NOC) to Sunny Deol-Ameesha Patel\u2019s starrer movie Gadar 2. As per the guidelines, for any army-based film in India, it has been mandatory to get NOC from the Ministry of Defence Preview Committee before its release. The makers of the film recently held a special screening of the movie for the Defense Preview Committee. \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The filmmakers have received a great response from the officials. It was extremely heartwarming. The Ministry of Defence Preview Committee has not only given the NOC to Gadar 2 but also praised the film and shared positive words of acclamation for the film.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The film Gadar 2: The Katha Continues has been a sequel to the iconic 2001 film, Gadar: Ek Prem Katha. The film has been scheduled for release on August 11, 2023, before Independence Day. Ameesha Patel and Sunny Deol have been excited to entertain fans again as Sakina and Tara Singh in Gadar 2. The film has been directed by Anil Sharma who has received a No Objection Certificate from the Indian Army.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The film Gadar: Ek Prem Katha was released in 2001 and was based on the Partition of India in 1947. The film was said to be loosely based on Boota Singh, who was an ex-soldier in the British army. The man was known for his tragic love story with Zainab, a Muslim girl he rescued during the communal riots during partition. The film stars Sunny Deol and Amisha Patel were in lead roles alongside great Amrish Puri and Lillete Dubey and the film was directed by Anil Sharma.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
