To prevent extreme levels of data scraping and system manipulation, Twitter is limiting the number of tweets that different accounts can read each day, according to Twitte’s CEO Elon Musk in a post on the micro-blogging site, Twitter, on Saturday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Elon Musk said that unverified accounts will be limited to 600 posts per day, with new unverified accounts being limited to 300, while verified users are temporarily restricted to reading 6,000 posts per day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Musk said in a separate post on Twitter that the temporary reading restriction would soon increase to 8,000 posts per day for verified users, 800 posts per day for unverified users, and 400 posts per day for new unverified users. However, he did not specify when it would be put into effect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
