The mayor of a town in Paris, Vincent Jeanburn asserted that his house was attacked by protesters on Saturday night. Taking to Twitter, the mayor wrote that in a bid to harm him and his family, the protestors attacked his house.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The mayor narrated that the protesters \u201crammed a car\u201d into his home before setting fire while his family slept. Vincent Jeanburn further added that his wife and one of his children were injured. Reportedly, the rioters have set cars on fire, attacked infrastructure and clashed with security forces after a police shot dead a 17-year-old boy who was trying to flee a traffic stop.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the victim\u2019s family lawyer, Nahel M had no criminal records. However, there were incidents where he evaded police checks. The 17-year-old had reportedly received summons to appear before a juvenile court in September. The police further noted that Nahel had drawn their attention due to reckless driving on the day of his death. Furthermore, although Nahel M had dropped out of school, individuals who are familiar with Nahel asserted that he was a no-big-time bandit.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As far as reports are concerned, French president Macron\u2019s government has employed 45,000 police officers along with armoured vehicles to tackle the crisis. The president also postponed a state visit to Germany that was due to commence on Sunday owing to the ongoing unrest. Meanwhile, French authorities prepared for a fifth consecutive night of rioting by sending reinforcements to flashpoint cities.
