According to a senior official earlier, it was decided to rename the station Gurugram City Centre.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The HUDA City Centre Metro station on the Yellow Line will henceforth be known as Millennium City Centre, the Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) announced in a tweet. As a result, a procedure has been started to gradually alter the name on all official papers, signage, announcements, etc. According to sources, the Centre and the Haryana government both requested that the station be given a new name.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\nhttps:\/\/twitter.com\/OfficialDMRC\/status\/1675764383430082563\n<\/div><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The 28.5-kilometer-long metro corridor in Gurugram between HUDA City Centre and Cyber City was approved by the Public Investment Board last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The chief secretary of Haryana Sanjeev Kaushal, thanked the staff at the Haryana Mass Rapid Transport Corporation for their efforts in securing the project&#8217;s approval from the Board.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>He claimed that it would provide the people of Haryana, particularly those residing in Gurugram and its surroundings, with a practical and environmentally sustainable transport system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result, there would be constant communication between Gurugram and the Indira Gandhi International (IGI) Airport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This announcement comes three days after the DMRC said that people are allowed to carry two sealed bottles of alcohol in the metro. According to previously revised rules, two sealed bottles of alcohol per person are now allowed to be taken within Delhi Metro, officials said on Friday, June 30.
