This morning, Delhi witnessed moderate to severe rainfall, which led to waterlogging in various districts of the city. Due to poor visibility on the roadways, there was also an adverse effect on the traffic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In addition to Delhi, rain poured in some areas of Noida and Ghaziabad early on Wednesday morning. After the rainstorm and subsequent downpour, Noida’s schools are scheduled to be closed today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The majority of Delhi-NCR is under a yellow alert from the India Meteorological Department (IMD), which denotes severe to extremely heavy rains and strong thunderstorms. The IMD said, that over west Uttar Pradesh, there has been heavy to very heavy rain as well as isolated thunderstorms and lightning. Over HP, Punjab, Haryana, East Uttar Pradesh, and Rajasthan, there were isolated areas of heavy rain, thunderstorms, and lightning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
