{"id":483007,"date":"2023-08-02T13:53:16","date_gmt":"2023-08-02T08:23:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/apnlive.com\/?p=483007"},"modified":"2023-08-02T18:04:41","modified_gmt":"2023-08-02T12:34:41","slug":"rabri-devi-worships-tazia-muharram","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/apnlive.com\/politics\/rabri-devi-worships-tazia-muharram\/","title":{"rendered":"Viral: Bihar\u2019s former CM Rabri Devi worships Tazia during Muharram, sparks debate"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Bihar\u2019s former CM Lalu Prasad Yadav and his wife Rabri Devi have come under heavy criticism from the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) after a video of Rabri Devi worshipping the Tazia on Moharram went viral on social media.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Tazia procession is seen in the video, which was taken on July 29, when several Muslims come together at Rabri Devi&#8217;s official residence in Patna, the 10 Circular Road bungalow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In the viral video it can be seen that while Rabri Devi is washing the floor where tazia is and worshiping it, Lalu Yadav can be seen sitting on the chair in the black outfit at a distance and watching his wife Rabri Devi performing the holy rituals. He also questioned them why do Lalu and Rabri remain silent when disparaging statements are made about Ram Charit Mana which is a sacred text for crores of Hindus), hurting religious sentiments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Meanwhile, on Saturday during Muharram, there were fights between members of two communities at Bhabhua in Bihar&#8217;s Kaimur district.
