Following a post purportedly from Govinda criticising the violence in Haryana that started receiving a lot of attention on social media, his Twitter account was removed. The actor posted a video on Instagram explaining that his account had been hacked and that he would never make an offensive statement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
After the aforementioned tweet went viral, the actor from the 90s actor started receiving criticism online. In the post, Govinda claimed that neither he nor his squad would participate in the violence in Haryana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
On Thursday, August 3, Govinda posted on Instagram to refute all accusations made against him. In a video he posted, he pleaded with his followers to deny any involvement in the Haryana tweet. Someone has done this, he said. I haven’t accessed the account in a long time. I’m making a complaint about it to the cyber cell. I would want to state that the claim has been refuted by my group. I’m going to turn this over to cybercrime. I never have and will never bring up any of this.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Govinda reaffirmed that his account had been hijacked while assuring his Haryana supporters that he had not been active on Twitter recently.
