As per reports, although the rules of the record allow the spoon to be constructed from multiple pieces of wood attached together, the 25-year-old artist carved the spoon from a single piece of wood, using a craft knife and a surgical blade.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reports state that the artist carved more than 10 iterations of the spoon before successfully making the one to break the record while meeting the design requirements. Shashikant is very passionate about micro-art and he aspires to gain recognition for his artistry by setting world records. Earlier, he has broken the record for most chain links carved from pencil lead twice in the past, first in 2020 with a total of 126 and again in 2021 with a total of 236.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As per the Guinness World Record website, Shashikant came across images of the world\u2019s smallest wooden spoon, a record that is broken once in a year since 2019, while searching for a different record to attempt. The 25-year-old became interested in making micro-art when he was in his first year of college. Recalling about that time, the artist told Guinness World Record that earlier he used a drawing compass to carve a chain from a piece of chalk and then gradually he developed a keen interest in the art form.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Reportedly, the artist devoted himself to his hobby and practiced for nearly 10 hours a day until he mastered the craft.
