Apple Music has introduced a dedicated discovery station to enhance users’ searches, according to reports. The discovery station has been developed to recommend songs that users may enjoy. This dynamic station comprises songs curated by the system, which is aimed at helping users discover new music similar to their current favourites.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to multiple media reports, the Apple Music discovery station has been under development for over a year and has finally been rolled out to users across the world. While this new feature shares similarities with the user\u2019s station, the primary difference between the two is the fact that the discovery station introduces users to music they may not have encountered before, while on the other hand the personal station will have songs that a user frequently enjoys listening to.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Unlike the new music mix, which is limited to 25 tracks, discovery station will reportedly offer a broader array of options, facilitating subscribers with a greater variety of music that is specific to individuals. Reports stated that Apple Music discovery station is available on mobile devices, desktop computers, and web browsers. The automatically curated playlist includes songs based on the user\u2019s music preferences and it is periodically updated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Notably, Spotify, which is a contemporary of Apple Music launched a similar feature named as the Discover Weekly playlist a few months ago. This custom-curated playlist shuffles every week to facilitate users to explore the latest music. At present, Apple Music is priced at Rs 99 per month and is available for use on web browsers, iPhones, and Android smartphones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
According to reports, Apple may not officially declare the new station but may instead mention it in an update note in a future release. The iPhone maker first introduced Apple Music in 2015.
